I’ve seen a ton of paper purses floating around and believe it or not, I hadn’t made one yet. There’s been plenty of other, outside the box, paper crafting projects I have tackled, but no purses. I thought it was time. Heck, I’d even say long over due.
I had been playing with a Stampin’ Up! set called Paisleys and Posies. I just love a good paisley, don’t you? I made a very classy black and grey card using the set a few days ago and thought how great would this look as a purse front.
Boy howdy, was I right?!?!
I think it turned out fantastic for my first one! Can you believe the base length is over 8 inches? The size is perfect! I cannot wait to go make another and incorporate my own tweaks. I made this one per the instructions from a Youtube video I found by a gal called Maymay Made It Crafts. Check out the video if you think you might want to make one. She gave a great video tutorial.
Needless to say I’m gonna make a few more of these. When I do, I will post more pictures and let you know what I did to embellish them and if I made any significant changes.
Have a great rest of your week!
Happy crafting!
