Layered Letters

Here are a few cards I have made with some new product coming to you in just 6 more days from the new Stampin’ Up! idea book and catalog. I am having a lot of fun with a fabulous new alphabet called Layered Letters. The “layered” refers to the great shapes they’ve given us to put behind the letter. On the Watermelon Wonder card I used the  lighter color for the first layer and the darker color for the second layer. Then on the “hello” card I used bright, rich colors for the first layer and heat embossed the second layer with white embossing powder. Because I used those bright colors the white embossing really pops!

The card in the middle? I have three words for you. TIP TOP TAUPE! I love the ink, the cardstock, the DSP…all of it. I am officially smitten with this new “in color”. I really think it is going to be my new go to neutral color and it is just perfect for a masculine effect. I paired it up with Basic Black here and love the outcome.

Hope you are enjoying getting to see some of the new products and I am inspiring you. Don’t forget to join me for my open house event to kick off the new catalog on May 30th. If you haven’t RSVP’d, please give me a holler.

There are a few days left in the month to leave a comment on my blog. Don’t forget I will be giving one randomly selected commenter a little sumthin’ sumthin’!

Happy Crafting!  Shan
