Coloring With Copics

Prior to Stampin' Up! introducing their Blendabilities line I did all my coloring with Copics, so I have a small fortune invested in them. ( That's just one of the perks to investing in the Blendabilities. Their price point is much more user friendly.) So even though I am a big  fan of the Blendabilities I have an extensive collection of the Copics that I still love to color with. My girlfriend and I have decided to get together once a month to play with our markers. You know, work on technique, bounce ideas off each other. This month was our first time. Here is the image that I worked on. And if you can believe it, what you see is two hours of work. Neither of us got our images finished the way we wanted to so we decided to give ourselves homework. From now until our next monthly get together we are going to complete a finished product using the image we were working on. My tropical oasis will undoubtedly end up as a card that I think I'll have to send to my sister-in-law up in Ohio. Winter is definitely rearing it's ugly head up there right now. I think this sunny, tropical card will warm the cockles of her heart. I am excited to see how my final picture turns out so keep watching for the finished card.

Happy Paper Craftin'!
